The English Language Learners Program: Why Grace Runs English Classes and Builds Community

When red paint was splattered on the doors of 10 churches in Calgary—including Grace Presbyterian Church—it was shocking and eye-opening. The act took place in the early morninghours of July 1, 2021, following announcements of unmarked graves of Indigenous children onthe grounds of former Residential Schools. 60 Years of Cake Bake – Remembering the heart of this phenomenon is fellowship

This September, the 60th Cake Bake took place - and it was a full production. What started as a small group of women 60 years ago who used their own mixers and raised money for mission work, has grown to a large-scale production line in our commercial-grade kitchen raising and disbursing hundreds of thousands of dollars to make our world a better place.
