The Call Process

Thank you everyone who attended in-person and online for the February 2-4 Call Weekend with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Joiner. At Grace 89% of members and adherents signed the Call. The Call then went to the Presbytery of Calgary-Macleod for approval. The Call was approved and sent on to the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee. This Presbytery has also approved the Call. At this time, an immigration lawyer engaged by Grace is working on Dr. Joiner's immigration process, and Dr. Joiner is completing Presbyterian Church in Canada coursework. Help Grace Support Women of RESET (Rapid Exit from Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking)

Every Advent, Grace collects donations of beauty items for the young women of the RESET Society of Calgary, which provides a comprehensive system of services in Alberta designed specifically for women who are survivors of sexual exploitation.  Donations of bath, beauty and hygiene items would be greatly appreciated. Nominate Elders

As part of our ongoing leadership development at Grace, every two years we recruit new Elders to serve the congregation. Election to the eldership is the call of God, through the congregation, for service in Christ’s Church. Since the eldership is a spiritual office concerned with the rule and pastoral oversight of the congregation, only suitable people should be considered. They should be committed Christians, in regular attendance at public worship, persons of sound judgment and upright character, and either knowledgeable or prepared to learn of the government of the church. Music Scholarship Application

Applications and donations to the Rose Baltrusaitis Music Scholarship are now being accepted for the current season. Two scholarships in the amount of up to $2000 each may be awarded to the recipients based upon musical ability, financial need and a desire to develop their musical gifts through participation and practice at Grace Presbyterian Church. Grace Presbyterian Chancel Choir  The chancel choir is a mixed twenty-five voice soprano, alter, tenor and base (SATB) ensemble comprised of both professional and amateur singers.
