This September, the Governance and Planning Committee is working to set a date for a fall Committee Convener and Committee Session Liaison meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to refresh the final year of the plan incorporating June 2023 retreat priorities.

Who: Standing Committee Conveners and Session Liaisons (if one cannot attend, please send another committee member)

When: Sunday, September 10, Non – 2:30 lunch included

Where: Grace gymnasium

What will happen at the meeting: to receive and discuss a progress report on committee work plans on the first two years of our current three-year strategic plan: what has been accomplished (outcomes and impact), what is in progress, what remains to be done

• Please register and share any specific food needs. This organizers with a single, self-updated list for the food order. *RSVPs must come through the form – RSVPs that are given outside of the form – verbally on Sundays, through email to the staff, or the committee members are not sufficient for making an accurate food order and for preparation – so please use the form. It takes just a moment to fill out. Please also fill out the form yourself rather than asking that staff fill out the form or register you. This ensures accuracy and efficiency.

  • Please review the agenda
  • Please bring your most current work plan to the meeting. Prior to the meeting, please consider the tasks you have achieved in the past year; specifically, the outcomes and impacts as listed in your work plan.
  • You will have recently received your committee’s July year to date budget update. Please review this and prior to the meeting, consider if your committee plans to spend your allocated budget before December 31, or if you will require additional monies or if you will be spending less.
  • We ask that the Committee Convener and Liaison sit together at the meeting. If one of you is unable to attend, please ensure there is another committee member who will attend in their stead.
