In the Community
Grace aspires to be an active and engaged member of Calgary’s Beltline community.
Belonging to a community is an important part of well-being. It can help us develop a stronger sense of personal and collective identity, and can boost our self-esteem. Community gives us opportunities to meet new people and make connections. We can find safety, security, and resources.
We need community as much as everyone else. We are also eager to help build community where others feel like they belong and can find what they need.

Community Initiatives and Programs
Calgary Food Bank
We’re concerned about the number of our neighbours who live with food insecurity. Over the years, we’ve invested in several small initiatives, and in 2020 became a satellite location for the Calgary Food Bank, improving hamper distribution in the Beltline. Click here to learn more.
Community Partnerships—Why Grace?
We’re interested in supporting and strengthening the community around us. Many local organizations and groups already lead initiatives and offer programs that benefit our neighbours. Partnering instead of competing seems, to us, to be the best way to support our community.
We have space, an active community of skilled volunteers, and a genuine interest in supporting those around us.
