Grace Music Ministry Fall 2023: Join a Grace Choir

Congregation, Families, Music

Grace Presbyterian Chancel Choir

The chancel choir is a mixed twenty-five voice soprano, alter, tenor and base (SATB) ensemble comprised of both professional and amateur singers. The choir provides music for Sunday services and performs in concerts and special events. The music focus is on the classical canon, renaissance, baroque, classical and romantic works as well as contemporary music and meets for rehearsals from September to June on Thursdays at 7:30 pm.

Grace Note Children’s Choir

This season, Grace is hoping to build a children’s choir. Children from the congregation and community who are age 7 years and older are welcome. The choir will build basic music skills and will join the Grace Choir in services for special times of the year such as Easter, Christmas, all ages services and special events.

Grace Band

The Music Ministry at Grace is building an instrumental group. There is an open call for all musicians:

  • All String types (violin, viola, cello, double bass)
  • Woodwinds (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon
  • Brass (trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba)
  • Any other instruments, we will find a place for you!

The Grace Band will meet bi-monthly to rehearse and prepare music for services and other special events. Whether you are amateur, professional (or in-between), try us out. Challenge yourself with classical sacred music – and connect with others.

Grace Handbell Choir

The Grace Handbell Choir is recruiting new members. The ability to read music helps, but if you need training, we will provide it. We have regular skills seminars with handbell experts. The group participates in services throughout the church year. If you’re interested in a unique and fun new challenge, try us out!
