The Presbytery of Calgary-Macleod has named the Rev. Dr. Jean Morris as Grace’s Interim Moderator effective June 1, following the resignation of the Rev. Greg Smith.
As the Interim Moderator, Rev. Jean has specific terms of reference with two primary areas of responsibility.
- The first term of reference for the role is to work with the Search Committee in the recruitment of a minister
- the second term of reference for the role is to be the Moderator of Grace’s Session.
- Rev. Jean will be supporting the Revs. Adams and Simmins, who will be providing leadership in ministry to the congregation for the next year.
