Sewing Hope: Women’s Religious Expression in the Christian Tradition: An Exhibition of Twelve Quilts

Congregation, Updates

Sunday, June 12, at Grace Presbyterian Church, immediately following worship, join the
Grace Quilters for a quilt exhibition entitled: Sewing Hope: Women’s Religious
Expression in the Christian Tradition.
An Exhibition of Twelve Quilts by the Grace
Presbyterian Quilters. You will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the quilts
and learn more about their meaning and charitable purpose. We hope you can join us
to celebrate both the Grace Quilters and their quilts. All welcome!

Sunday, June 26, at Calgary Central Library, Level 1, Patricia A. Whelan Performance Hall
from noon to 5 p.m. This exhibition of 12 quilts made by Calgary’s Grace Presbyterian
Quilters shows that women’s involvement in Christianity is found in diverse media such
as textiles. This exhibition was inspired by a talk given earlier this year at the CPL:
Quilter as Truthteller. Grace Quilters will be available on the day to answer any
questions.
