World Food Day at Grace Presbyterian Church
On the evening of October 16, Grace Presbyterian Church invites the congregation and community to gather to recognize World Food Day. This special evening will include a presentation by Grace Clausen from the Calgary Food Bank. The event occurs in the Grace Church Chapel from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Grace Clausen will discuss the incredible work of the Calgary Food Bank in combating food insecurity and providing essential resources to those in need. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speaker and ask questions about the Calgary Food Bank’s impact on our community.
This event also introduces a year-long theme at Grace Presbyterian, focusing on the connection between food and faith leading up to Grace’s Preaching Grace weekend. We hope this conversation will inspire deeper reflection and commitment to caring for those in need through faith and action.
