Quilt Exhibition – Sewing Hope (Onsite)
On Sunday, 6 March 2022, immediately after Sunday worship, there will be a quilt exhibition at Grace entitled: Sewing Hope: Women’s Religious Expression in the Christian Tradition. An Exhibition of Twelve Quilts by the Grace Presbyterian Quilters.
There will be a brief introduction to the exhibition. Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the quilts and learn more about their meaning and charitable purpose. We hope you can join us to celebrate both the Grace Quilters and their quilts. All welcome! Approximate time: starting at Noon and ending at 2:00.
The event has been organized by the Department of Classics and Religion, University of Calgary, reflecting the enrichment initiatives of the Chair of Christian Thought, in partnership with Grace Presbyterian Church.
Registration Required: Please register using the form below. Grace has a 200 person capacity limit in the Sanctuary, where the exhibition is being held.
Parking and Entrances
Please note that there is free parking in the South Parking lot for this event. Free parking while spaces last – no parking pass required.
Entrance into the Church: It can be a challenge to know which door to enter at Grace! Please enter through the North Door or South Parking Lot Door. Please use the West Chapel doors if you use a wheelchair, walker. Outdoor signage will be placed by Event Entrance doors.
COVID-19 Protocols: Grace continues to require proof of vaccination in the form of a QR code for those who are 12 and older; masking inside the church, and physical distancing.
Registration: Please register using the form below. Grace has a 200 person capacity limit in the Sanctuary, where the exhibition is being held. The registration is first come, first served! An email reminder will be sent the day before the event.
