As Grace Church seeks to strengthen relationships with the community, we may have the opportunity to engage with people who are experiencing homelessness.

Not all of us are comfortable about such encounters and we are grateful for the Alpha House staff who will lead a short (90 minute) workshop at Grace.

The goal of the Engaging Vulnerable People workshop is to help attendees better understand Calgary’s homeless population, increase their comfort and sense of personal safety when engaging with someone experiencing homelessness, and provide connections to the network of organizations and agencies that are available to provide support and information.
