Session Highlights
At its regular meeting on February 10, the Session:
- Opened with reading of 1 John 4, starting at verse 7, and prayer
- Approved the Terms of Reference for the Strategic Planning Committee
- Received presentations by the Deacons on their pastoral ministries, and gave thanks for their vital service
- Discussed with the Pastoral Care & Connection Committee the work in 2024 and plans for 2025
- Approved updates to the Roll which now stands at 344 Professing Members. There are 155 Adherents.
- Considered a proposal for renovations to provide additional washrooms, including some that are barrier-free, and agreed to call a congregational meeting to seek its approval
- Received a presentation by the Treasurer on preliminary 2024 financial results. The trends are encouraging.
- Accepted reports and updates from all the committees, staff and the ministers on their work
- Closed with prayer
