Looking for some resources to help  cope during the pandemic? There are many paths to support. Please find a series of resources, websites and phones numbers where you can access help in Calgary. Know more? Share them with communications@gracecalgary.org and they will be added to the list.

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Government of Canada – Mental Health Services or call 1-866-585-0445

Wellness Together Canada provides immediate single session telephonic counseling, mood assessment/tracking, resources and activities for both children and adults to help cope with mental health during COVID-19 and transitions. This is a national 27/7 program that is free to all Canadians.

Catholic Family Service – Rapid Access Counselling

Distress Centre  24/7 access to help

Good preventative work can be done well by keeping in regular touch with the people we are closest to. The Distress Centre is a very effective resource when people are sliding beyond the help of friends and family.

Sagesse: Direct service, capacity building, education or advocacy, their job is to empower people, organizations and communities to break the cycle of domestic violence.

Calgary Domestic Violence Collective: works with community partners to provide a coordinated response to violence prevention in Calgary
