The Beltline Ministry Team kicked off the very first After Work Coffee House on Friday, September 15th at 7:00 pm. If you are between 18 and 35 and think you might be interested in taking part next time, we’d love to have you join us. Here’s a short update from Roberto, Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, about the first evening:

“During the two-plus hour conversation at Caffe Beano, we enjoyed an engaging time of fellowship. Our conversation topics ranged from our own personal lives of faith and prayer to current events in the Grace and Beltline communities. We even (bravely) ventured into some political and social theory.

Grace’s Beltline Ministry Team has imagined this engagement ministry to be something different from the typical church Bible studies. While the stories and themes of scripture did run through our conversation, we approached our subjects (the big questions of what it means to be “Christian”) by searching for God’s fingerprints in our daily experience of life.

It was wonderful to watch the work of the Spirit move our conversation as each person brought themselves; their faith, their expertise, and their interests to the table. I know that we each learned a lot about each other’s perspectives and particular gifts.

Join us at the next After Work Coffee House
